On the 16th August, 2011, in appreciation of KASB Foundation’s efforts to promote education through their “FATA Scholarship Program”, the Counsel General of the United States , Mr. William J. Martin had invited some of the sponsored school children at his residence for Iftar.
Besides presenting the school children so sporting items, such as cricket kits, footballs etc. prior to the Iftar dinner and allowing the children to play in his gardens, he personally also presented the small children with education books and posters at the conclusion of the gathering.
